Sneak Peek

I managed to get a few hours on Sunday afternoon to work on my table runner for my EB swap. I actually planned to do this awhile ago, but when I looked through my stash, I couldn't find fabric that I thought would do what I wanted it to so I had to order some more. What a shame! I'm a bit worried about this being a swap item as I am trying several new things! Hope my swap buddy is understanding!
I had a few heart stopping moments, like when I was trying to put two pieces together and they would go! I read and re-read the instructions to make sure I had cut it properly (which I had) and couldn't work out why it wasn't working - until I turned one of the pieces 90 degrees! Suddenly everything feel into place and I stopped having visions of having to unpick everything and start again. In the end I was so happy with it and how quickly and easily it had actually come together, I rewarded myself with a champers and a quiet half hour on the deck with a book!
