Today we have a packet of retro fabric scraps and a bag pattern to give away.
Both of these items were bought as part of swaps which didn't happen for one reason or another. Neither item is really my style so is likely just to sit in my drawers and do nothing!
As far as I can see, there are 5 decent size scraps in the scrap bag.
The bag pattern is called Kindred Spirits by Apple Cottage Designs. Please note it is just the pattern, not the kit.
I know these two items don't seem to go together, but neither seemed enough on their own.
Want a chance to win these items? Leave me a comment telling me what doesn't go together in your sewing life! Don't forget to mention me on your blog to increase your chances of winning!

I guess that what doesn't go together in my sewing is the kind of projects I want to make and the tiny space I've got to do my sewing!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Ooh I'd love the retro scraps - happy for the bag pattern to go elsewhere!
Onya Kylie! Nice way to celebrate your blogging milestone :)
Oooh Count me in (will be linking it to my blog too ;)
What doesn't go together with my sewing is my lack of time :(
Congrats on your milestone!
What doesn't go together? My stash and my current tastes!
What doesn't go together in my sewing life is the huge number of projects I'd love to make and the tiny snippets of time I get to make them in. Isn't it strange how having kids gives you so much inspiration, but also starves you of sewing time. But if it weren't for the little darlings, there'd be noone to sew for.
I'm not sure I'd use the pattern either, but those scraps? Absolutely! I'm with most of the others; I have the fabric and plans but not the time to put them together!
Great giveaway Kylie!
What doesn't go together in my sewing life is the number of things I want to sew but can't always find the time, or these days the motivation to sew since it is hot.
Pick me, pick me, awwwwwwww puhleeeeez pick me!!!!
I LOVE the retro scraps and am sure the bag would look very sweet done with some pretty pastel colours instead of those yukky country ones (sorry to all you folk who love country fabric - to each their own)!
What doesn't go together in my sewing, hmmmmm where to start.
1. Lots of ideas and not enuf time (I don't seem to be on my Pat Malone with this one!)
2. Lots of gorgeous fabric but issues deciding what goes with what - I don't have a flair for this and really need to stop obsessing and just start throwing stuff together and taking chances!
3. Working during the day and being too tired to sew at night - sooooo would love to have some more energy and better eye sight. I don't know how ladies used to sew by the light of kerosene lamps!
Okay, I'm sure there's plenty more to say but I don't want to be a blog hog!
I'm going to write about your awesome giveaway on my blog now - altho I really don't want anyone else to enter this particular giveaway - it's mine, all mine! LOL
Hugs, Kelly :-)
I'm baaaaaaaaaack! I've blogged about you fab giveaway week, check it out at: http://purplepaisleypatch.blogspot.com/2009/02/kylies-stitchn-sew-great-give-away-week.html
Oh, and I told everyone that I've got dibs on today's giveaway! LOL :-)
I'd have to say the real dive to sew great things but every time you start one or another child needs your attention.Sometimes both decide they need you undying attention.
Hi I would love to have this give away; maybe I will finally get around to making that bag I have been promising myself to make for soooo long. What doesn't go together in my sewing life is my colour preference (Autumn colours) and the quilts my family want me to make... they all like bright colours. So my stash is a terrible mix.
Cheers from Perth, Western Australia
Things that don't go together in my sewing life? Desire and ability!!!
My lack of talent does not go together with all the things I would love to make.
But hey, a beginner has to start somewhere right!?
I have linked you to my blog :)
Love the retro scraps and I am addicted to making bags atm so would love to win this one!
My two girls and a new puppy definitly don't go well together with my sewing resulting in little time to myself and distrated sewing opportunities.

What doesn't go together with my sewing?
The storage space I have for my stash and my stash!
Though thankfully that doesn't seem to stop me.
hmmm... what doesn't go together?
I guess it would have to be my addiction to fabric vs. the amount of cash in my wallet!
